What should I know about Olympiada?

Olympiada is located at a distance of 100 kilometers from the airport of Thessaloniki and is located near the peninsula of Athos. The picturesque village is located on the north-eastern coast of Halkidiki, on the way to Mount Athos. According to legend, the village of Olympiada owes its name to the mother of Alexander the Great! It is surrounded by verdant mountains, while its beach is also beautiful. Walk in the footsteps of Aristotle by hiking from the archaeological site of Ancient Stagira to the Aristotle Park, on a 14km route crossing the Aristotelian mountain! One can start directly opposite the archaeological site and end up in the park or vice versa. The “Aristotle path” is part of the Halkidiki Routes network of paths.
